I wanted the 1TB Samsung 850 PRO but after price checking I think the 512GB version will do fine. 🙂

which sata port does this plug into? Using an asusx99 deluxe there are two types of sata 2 connections at 6 gb on the x99 to choose, Intel serial or AS media serial. Or should it plug into sata express E1 connection. Sorry it's my first build…

You should google MLC vs TLC if you want to know the difference between pro and non pro models.

Can I put this on my laptop without removing my original hard drive??? Is that possible? 128GB of capacity is too small for me.

I got this from Newegg for Christmas and was shocked that it doesn't include the cables, screws and bracket shown in the installation instructions.  So how do I install it in my desktop?  I know my motherboard supports SSD and has the right connections.

10 years?  Man that's incredible.   Some one in the market for an SSD has no reason to not get one of these drives because of that warranty.
