After Adoring Half-life in early 1999, I needed another story game to fill in the void after that. Max Payne came was my first game on My Celeron 500. It remains the best game still.

Great game, and Max Payne 2 was even better thanks to increased production values and the ability to continue firing while laying on the floor at the end of a dive, which just looked so cool. The third game was alright.

again dwelling on cliche too much, no talk about plot at all, man vs corporate world, what system does to its small gears, inner fight of the main hero, completely superficial safe mumbling as always, mythical NY which was recreated from real video and photos shot in 1999- 2000

Max Payne 2 was even better. Max Payne 3, not so much, but as a much more modern game it may be more accessible for those playing today.
