This video contains clips from the Ender’s Game Experience at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (2013) as well as viral videos of the film including recruitment posters and more. Ender’s Game opens Nov. 1, 2013. Footage includes Asa Butterfield and Hailee Steinfield talking and walking through the actual sets that were re-purposed for the convention as “Ender’s Game Experience”.

Film Synopsis: In the near future, a hostile alien race called the Formics attacked Earth and because of the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley) we managed to barely win. In preparation for the next attack, Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training the best young minds to find the future leader of the Fleet. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a strategically brilliant young boy, is recruited to join the IF. Someone among his class must lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth. The film is based on the best-selling, award winning novel of the same name written by Orson Scott Card. The film stars Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin and Harrison Ford.

Many of us at Snouty Pig have to admit that these recent trailers and viral vid clips make the film look much better than we at first anticipated.

He'll be getting a crap load of money if this film does well. If people don't want a percentage of their ticket money going to someone campaigning against gay rights and saying truly awful dehumanising things about gay people, then they shouldn't see this film.

And what exactly does that have to do with the movie, which was made by people in an industry that almost completely support LBGT equality? Card didn't even have a lot to do with the writing of the screenplay, and his novel didn't even discuss homosexuality. And by the way, he lost the argument before the Supreme Court.

That would be Griffin, although the book has many more. 🙂

Okay. I see Dragon, Rat, Asp, Salamander, Centipede, Leopard, and Condor. Who knows what the last one is?
